Who we are

Hi, I am Warren Edminster, a 94-year-old Architect/Artist and am offering my entire personal art collection to the public.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Illinois in 1960, I joined an Architect/Engineering firm in Tucson, Arizona.  I soon learned that my skill in “rendering” (making two dimensional drawings of architectural projects) was valuable and gratifying.

My interest in history of the Southwest, particularly the Spanish occupation of the new world, led to visiting and drawing all the Missions in California and northern Mexico.

Extensive travel over the last 60 years broadened my range of subjects.  I made ink sketches or watercolors almost every day on these travels.

Through the years, my collection of some 400 pieces has been reduced to 140 as of November 2024.  These pictures of History and Travel are available here and also by requesting a private showing of what is still available.
